I was on active duty in the Navy on September 11th, 25 years ago, and I vividly remember the horror, shock, and confusion of that day. Our country lost more than buildings and innocent lives that day — we lost our security from foreign threats, and we lost some of our innocence.
It was an honor for me to serve in the Global War on Terror for the next 20 years, helping bring justice to the enemies that brought war to our homeland.
Please take a moment to pay tribute to all the people murdered that beautiful September morning, and let's all rededicate ourselves to restoring our nation to its best principles.
As we swore on 9/11, never forget.
