Early voting started Thursday, September 24, at 5 temporary sites, open weekdays 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. From October 19 there are 24 sites, open weekdays 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and weekends 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
DuPage County early voting locations
Kane County
Early voting started Thursday, September 24, at the Geneva Clerk’s office and the Aurora satellite office, open weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Voting is countywide from October 19.

Early voting started Thursday, September 24, at the Clerk’s office, 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet, open weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Naperville, Plainfield, and Homer Township sites open October 19. Expanded hours start October 24.

Kendall County
Early voting started Thursday, September 24, at the County Clerk’s Election Office, 502 S. Main St., Yorkville, open weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Oswego Village Hall (100 Parkers Mill) opens October 19. Extended hours run through November 2.

Vote by mail
Mailed vote-by-mail applications are due Thursday, October 29, 2026. Check your county clerk for ballot return rules.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Registration
Regular registration at your county clerk’s office closes Tuesday, October 6, 2026; a mailed registration application counts if it is postmarked before then. Online registration stays open through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 18. From Wednesday, October 7, through Election Day, you can still register and vote in person during grace-period registration at your clerk’s office or another designated site.
